Pep Guardiola involved in car crash in Munich after his Audi fails to stop
The Bayern coach crashed his Audi RS6 into a Volkswagen Polo in Munich city centre
Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola was involved in a car crash in Munich after his Audi failed to brake in time.
The
Catalan coach was at the junction of the Bavarian city's
Humboldtstrasse and Claude-Lorrain-Strasse when his Audi RS6 collided
with a Volkswagen Polo.
Guardiola was unhurt and immediately leapt out of his vehicle to check for any damage. The Spaniard exchanged details with the male driver of the Polo, who was also unharmed, as surprised onlookers snapped pictures on their phones.
Audi are a long-time sponsor of Bayern and even sponsor the Audi Cup, a pre-season tournament at the Allianz Arena.
Guardiola is not the only star in the world of football to have a prang, with David Beckham recently admitting he was still ''shaky and sore'' after crashing his car - also an Audi.
Curiously, the very same car appeared for sale on auction site eBay.
