Dani Alves' agent blasts Barcelona over contract talks

Dani Alves' agent blasts Barcelona over contract talks
The Brazilian defender's representative has voiced her disappointment with the Catalans' failure to contact them over a potential contract renewal

Dani Alves' agent, Dinorah Santa Ana, has blasted Barcelona, saying the right-back is "sad" that the club have not made any contact over a new deal.
The 31-year-old's existing deal runs out at the end of the season and a number of reports suggested he was on the verge of committing for another year.
However, the player's representative has made it clear Barcelona have yet to offer him a new deal, much to Dani Alves' disappointment.
"It is not true that Barcelona have offered Dani Alves a new one-year deal," Dinorah told COPE.
"Disappointed is not the right word, but we are very sad with Barcelona's attitude. There has not even been a call and nor has there been contact at any moment.
"We are more sad than disappointed. We expected a call from the club by now. Dani Alves is a starter, plays nearly every game and gets along well with Luis Enrique.
"We are listening to offers from other clubs. There have been some offers, all from teams outside Spain.
"He has five or six more years in him at the highest level. He is very professional."
The right-back has made 26 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona so far this term.
